Q: What is the Anti-Collision Function?



The anti-collision function is designed to protect your desk and its surroundings by preventing damage when an obstacle is detected during the desk's movement.



Q: How does it work?



1) Activation: 

The anti-collision function is activated when the force applied against the desk is equal to the force of the desk moving downward. This means the desk will respond if it encounters any significant resistance.


2) Sensor Location and Operation : 

The anti-collision sensor is located within the control box of your desk. It operates based on the motion of the desk, continuously monitoring for any irregularities or obstructions. 


3) Response to Impact:

Detection:
If the desk encounters a hard impact, or halts unexpectedly during its motion, the control box will immediately activate the anti-collision protocol.

Motor Pause:
The control box will trigger the leg motors to pause, stopping the desk's movement to prevent further collision.

Reverse Motion:
To create a “bounce” effect and relieve the pressure, the control box will then move the desk slightly in the opposite direction (approximately 1cm).



Important Safety Notice



While your desk is equipped with an anti-collision sensor to help prevent damage, it is important to note that this function only activates upon contact with an obstruction. To minimize the risk of damage to both your desk and personal belongings, we advise the following: 


Clear Space Below: 
Ensure there are no items under the desk that could obstruct its downward movement.

Clear Space Above:
Make sure the area above the desk is free from any objects that might impede its upward movement.

Avoid Edge Obstructions:
Keep the edges of the desk clear to prevent any potential interference with the desk's motion.


By following these guidelines, you can help maintain the smooth operation of your standing desk and prevent unnecessary wear and tear.
