Max Frame Uneven LegsUpdated a year ago

Q: Help! My Max frame is uneven. One of the legs is not responding.

A: Not to worry! Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:

A slanting desk is usually caused by a disconnection in one of the legs to the control box, causing it to remain stationary while the other leg moves continuously during height adjustment.

This can be resolved by swapping the cable connection for both legs, on the control box's ports. Each leg is connected to the center control box by their individual cables.

Swapping the Cable Connection

Step 1: Unplug the main power cord connecting to the control box

Step 2: The control box has 4 cables plugged to it. Unplug all 4 cables to the control box

Step 3: Slide out the control box from the centre railing, before rotating it to face the other side.

Step 4: Plug back the 4 cables connecting to the control box.

Step 5: Plug in the main power cord connecting to the control box

Step 6: The display should show either "RST" or "ERR" or the height of the desk, any of the 3 findings are expected.

Step 7: For "RST" or "ERR" message on display, you may simply conduct Reset.

There can be only 3 outcomes during the reset of the desk.

Outcome A:
Issue resolved, both legs are fine
Outcome B:The other leg becomes unresponsive -> Control Box issue
Outcome C:
The same leg remains unresponsive -> Leg motor issue.

If your outcome falls into category B or C, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.
