Warranty Exclusions: What's Not CoveredUpdated a year ago

1. Labour Fee
We do not cover the labour required to replace any defective parts on your Ergotune. Any replacement parts, inclusive of shipping costs and installation instructions, shall be fully provided by Ergotune. Labour to install the replacement part is chargeable at $60

2. Natural Wood Tabletop Series
The following tabletops belong to our Natural Wood series:

• Raw Ashen Oak
• Aged Darkened Walnut

Each piece in the Natural Wood series is crafted from real wood, making it unique. Over time, you can expect your tabletop to develop its own distinctive character, including variations in grain pattern, knots, scratches, and hairline cracks.

Please note that these characteristics are not defects but rather part of the charm of owning a real wood tabletop. They contribute to the individuality of your piece, creating a story that becomes embedded in the desk itself.

3. Aesthetic and cosmetic abnormalities or variations
Minor aesthetic and cosmetic abnormalities or variations refer to slight imperfections in the appearance of the product that do not impact its functionality. 

These may include small blemishes, color variations, or surface irregularities that are inherent to the manufacturing process or natural materials used. Despite these imperfections, the product remains fully functional and performs as intended. 

These minor variations are considered normal and do not detract from the overall quality or usability of the product.

Any cosmetic defects must be reported within 7 days of delivery 

4. Wear and Tear
Normal wear and tear, the natural deterioration that occurs with regular use, extends to include the expected degradation of both the tabletop and desk frame. 

This degradation may manifest as minor scratches, scuffs, or dents on the tabletop surface, as well as subtle fading or wearing of the desk frame's finish. While they may alter the appearance of the furniture, they do not compromise its structural integrity or functionality.

5. Defects caused by modification, alteration, misuse or lack of maintenance
Defects caused by modification, alteration, misuse, or lack of maintenance, as specified by Ergotune's guidelines and instructions, are not covered under our warranty. 

Customers need to adhere to these guidelines to ensure the proper functioning and longevity of the product. Failure to do so may result in damage or malfunctioning that is not eligible for warranty coverage.

6. Consequential or incidental damage, whether resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use this product or from defects in the Product.
Our warranty solely addresses defects in materials and workmanship and does not extend to any damages or losses beyond the product itself.
